CHELSEA Houska has revealed a tremendous loss to her family in an emotional social media post.
On Saturday, the Teen Mom 2 alum took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news with fans.
Chelsea, 32, revealed that the family’s pet pig, Pete, had passed away with the sentimental post.
The post included a photo of Pete as well as a video of Chelsea and her now-husband, then-boyfriend Cole DeBoer, 35, picking him up from the airport as a piglet.
In the video, the former Teen Mom joked, “We have a child now.”
She also quipped, “Don’t make me be a single mom again,” to which Cole simply replied, “I won’t.”

In the post, Chelsea also explained why Pete’s death hit her and her family so hard.
The MTV alum wrote, “I’m not great with words which is why I usually like to keep it simple. But, this felt like one of those times I needed to at least try to elaborate how I was feeling.”
She continued, “This is a tremendous loss to our family. I think this one stings extra because Pete symbolized more than just a pet. Pete symbolized a new chapter in mine and Aubree’s life.
“I have dreamed of having a farm for a very very long time. I dreamed of having a big family, a loving husband, and a farm full of funny animals. Pete was the first.”

Chelsea revealed, “Cole was totally on board with my silly idea of getting a pig and it truly felt like I had found my person that supported my crazy dream.
“We now have a silly little farm, with many funny animals and a handful more kids – everything I dreamed of having…and Pete was the first.”
The HGTV star concluded, “I hope there’s endless belly scratches in heaven.”
Cole also posted about Pete on Sunday, sharing a photo of himself holding the pig on Instagram.
He wrote, “We say goodbye to a member of our family. Pete was a piece of our beginning.
“The start of a relationship and a family. A daily bond that I cherished for almost 10 years and will never forget. Stubborn as hell but flopped on his side at any chance for a belly scratch.”
Cole finished, “This one really hurts. Saying goodbye to an everyday piece of my life. We love you Pete.”
The Down Home Fab co-host included pics of a young Aubree with Pete, the pig laying on its side, and a video of the pet in its pen.
TOUGH NIGHT
Recently, Chelsea shared some upsetting news about her family.
The TV personality posted a video on her Instagram Story to reveal the devastating news to her followers.
She said that they had a tough night last night on their farm.
Cole told the story from the night before.
He said they had a goat that was pregnant, but they didn’t realize how far along she was and that she was about to give birth.
Last night, he went out to the barn and noticed she was in labor.
While the mom did a fine job pushing the kid out, unfortunately, the kid has “no signs of life right away.”
After it was born, Cole tried to revive her for 20 minutes, but he was unsuccessful.
He finished by saying: “Guess that’s life.”
Chelsea then said, while almost in tears, that while they “don’t have a lot of stuff like that happen,” it’s the reality of having all the animals.
TEARFUL PHOTO
Last week, Chelsea sparked concern after she cried in a new photo with her husband Cole.
The 32-year-old reality television star posted a new TikTok video with Cole from their South Dakota farmhouse earlier this week.
Chelsea and Cole snuggled up on the sofa and filmed a video about the process of their latest career move.
The pair are filming for the reality show, Down Home Fab.
Chelsea rested her head on Cole’s chest and cried into him.
She dressed casually in a gray sweatshirt and black baseball cap.
Her features were exaggerated as she pouted while sobbing.
“Starting a business,” Chelsea captioned her photo, indicating she felt stressed.
