The husband/wife duo reportedly owe money to the state of Arkansas in back taxes.

Joy-Anna, 26, and Austin, 30, owe nearly $2,000.00 in unpaid taxes, according to legal documents obtained by In Touch.

The amount of $1,321.65 in unpaid taxes accumulated over the years.

The couple have reportedly not paid their taxes in 2019, 2021, and 2022.

THE TV PARK SALE

The back taxes report came after the U.S. Sun exclusively revealed the Counting On alums sold their Arkansas property.

The duo sold the 11-acre lot for about $165,000 in November 2023.

In August 2022, the TLC alums originally bought the estate for about $159,500.

The pair initially planned to turn the property into an RV park, but their hopes were squashed last year

In January 2023, KNWA reported Austin – who buys, renovates, and sells homes for a living – and his developer spoke at a town meeting to request to change the area zoned for agriculture to comply with zoning for an RV park.

Joy-Anna’s husband explained that the campground for RVs would be a “great experience for campers and the community of Elkins.”

FAILED BUSINESS

However, the planning commission denied their rezoning request after they held a hearing with the public members.

According to the outlet, resident Madeline Haydon said at the meeting: “I just feel like putting it in the middle of a small city, next to a big school, and then also a city that’s having water and drainage issues, traffic issues, and then adding possible spots for up to almost 190 RVs, that’s kind of worrisome for everybody, I think.”

Elkins School District Superintendent Jeremy Mangrum agreed and argued: “From a school district’s standpoint, we can’t support the location of this RV park.

“I’m a camper. I have a camper. My camper sits at a campsite at an RV park. It’s in a rural area. It’s not close to town. It’s not close to schools.”

DREAMING BIG

Joy-Anna and Austin are also campers and purchased their own motorhome in August 2021.

The TV stars also share their three children: Gideon, five, Evelyn, three, and newborn son Gunner.

The parents of three announced they were undergoing a total renovation of the RV before taking it on the road.

In August 2021, Joy-Anna’s post read: “We bought this 2001 Freightliner Fleetwood, Bounder, Class A, Motorhome a few months back, and we’re finally starting on the renovation!

“We plan to replace all of the flooring, paint the cabinets and walls, update the hardware, and convert our closet into a bunk room for the kids.”
