When Kramer works out, she loves to go outside. She tells The New Potato some of her favorite outdoor workouts. “I love to hike outside. Recently, I’ve really enjoyed running again.” Kramer also posted this set of photos of herself hiking on Instagram. “Being active and engaging in regular aerobic exercise is important for overall heart health and wellness. Typically, 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity five days a week is recommended for most healthy adults. Running is a simple, low-cost exercise, and you should be commended for starting a new exercise regimen,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Kramer is a big fan of enjoying kale. When The New Potato asked her what her favorite smoothies and salads were, Kramer answered,”My perfect smoothie would consist of kale, spinach, cucumber, parsley, lots of ginger and lemon. I love all salads, but my favorite would be a Kale Caesar.” “Kale’s pungent, slightly bitter, peppery taste stands on its own very well — steamed, sauteed or baked into yummy kale chips. If you find kale’s taste a bit strong, look for blends of kale with other greens or try milder baby kale. Don’t forget to remove the tough middle part so you don’t get a bitter taste in your mouth after chewing on it,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

Kramer doesn’t feel pressure to be perfect in life. When The New Potato asked her what advice she’d give to other moms, she answered, “It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to mess up. It’s okay to open a bottle of wine. Being a mom is the greatest job in the world, and sometimes it’s okay to not be perfect.”

For Kramer, working out isn’t just a way to stay in shape, it’s a way to feel better about herself. She tells Us Weekly, “Working out for me is my sanity. Even just going for a walk, that is a place where I come back and I’m like, ‘I feel good, I feel balanced.’ Working out is 100% how I stay level.”

Kramer’s trainer, Erin Opera, tells Us Weekly that the singer worked out while she was pregnant. “She had a lot of discipline during her pregnancy. She really stayed on track. We worked out consistently and not every workout was hard and things weren’t always intense, but we worked out consistently ’til the day before the baby was born and so her bounce-back was quick.”
