General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) will be getting a visit from her meddling mother soon. TVLine is reporting that soap vet Eva LaRue will make her debut as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez on February 26, so Blaze will have to deal with her mom’s arrival in Port Charles.
GH fans might recognize Eva LaRue from other daytime drama roles on Santa Barbara, All My Children and The Young and the Restless.
LaRue certainly made a splash with her most recent soap appearance as Celeste Rosales on Y&R, which earned her a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Performer in 2020.
Of course, LaRue also has some familiar co-stars from her Pine Valley days since Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) are also AMC alums.
Perhaps LaRue will get a chance to share scenes with some familiar faces depending on how her new storyline plays out and who the writers let her cross paths with.
Now Eva LaRue is set to appear as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, so trouble is brewing for Blaze and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Kristina and Blaze are keeping their romance on the down low since Blaze isn’t out to her family yet, so Natalia will inevitably learn the truth and cause a fuss.
Since Blaze has a thriving music career, it’s possible there’ll be some press hints about her romantic relationship with Kristina. That seems like a quick way to get a disapproving Natalia on the first flight to Port Charles.
It’s also possible Blaze will try to ease Natalia into the Kristina news by confessing that she’s gay.
Natalia might head to PC so she can discuss this with Blaze and find that she’s already in a relationship with a pregnant mob boss’ daughter!
Then again, maybe it’ll be a total surprise visit for mother-daughter time if GH writers really want to catch Blaze off guard.
Whatever the case, Natalia will eventually make a shocking discovery when it comes to Blaze and Kristina’s close connection, so major drama’s about to erupt.
