Whether it was oversized garments or baby noises in the background of videos, here are all the clues that proved Halle, 23, had given birth before she made the announcement.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT

On Saturday, Halle posted the very first photo of her son, Halo, to her Instagram.

In the heart-warming snapshot, the Hollywood actress held her baby son’s hand.

The newborn was wearing a onesie and had a gold bracelet around his wrist that had his name, “Halo,” engraved on the charm.

Last week, Halo’s father, DDG — birth name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. — further fueled rumors when he shared a pic of him holding a baby on Snapchat.

The YouTuber smiled as he gazed at the adorable tot, who sported blue sweatpants, a striped shirt, and a vest.

He wrote in large lettering over the photo: “FINALLY REVEALING HIM,” with three red heart emojis.

While DDG, 26, didn’t explain who the youngster belonged to, he did raise eyebrows, given all the rumors that he had recently become a dad.

Halle has been with DDG since the couple began dating in March 2022.

HIDDEN BUMP

Rumors of Halle being pregnant started swirling last year after fans began to suspect the Grown-ish star was trying to cover a baby bump in baggier outfits.

Halle raised eyebrows when she attended the MTV Video Music Awards in a very loosely fitted orange dress that drowned her entire frame.

An insider at the event told Page Six: “Halle stayed away from the pink carpet so she would not be photographed, and when she was inside, she was very mindful in the way she gave hugs, and who she gave them to.”

Another source pointed out that the singer’s “orange dress flow was an indicator she was trying to hide.”

“She would keep her distance when someone got too close, and she gave out more handshakes than her [usual] enduring embraces.”

Ever since the award show, fans started noticing Halle repeatedly hiding her stomach from cameras which only further fueled the rumors of a pregnancy.

In one social media photo, the Georgia native concealed her tummy with bags following a shopping spree.

In another, with her beau DDG, only the couple’s faces were captured, as the pair were sure to leave Halle’s figure out of the frame.

Halle drew suspicion as photos from the Glamour Women of The Year Awards 2023 showed her wearing a black mini-dress that concealed her midsection

Halle again drew suspicion as photos from the Glamour Women of The Year Awards 2023 in London showed her wearing a strapless, black mini-dress that featured a tutu-like waistline with white roses.

The outfit’s design appeared to purposely hide Halle’s midsection.

Last month, Halle was photographed completely covered up while watching a basketball game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The celebrity couple sat courtside as they watched the game, smiled for photos, and cuddled up to each other.

DDG wore a colorful sweater, along with a black beanie and a face mask, film star Halle, meanwhile, opted to cover up much more on her courtside seat.

Halle had her hair in thick, long braids, and had minimal makeup with a slick of bright red lipstick.

She wore a pair of tight but stretchy black pants and kept her legs crossed and tucked beneath her.

Adding to the all-black outfit, The Color Purple actress wore a huge puffer jacket, which drowned her torso completely.

Halle also kept her arms across her stomach at most times, hiding any view of her belly.

CHRISTMAS CLUE

A recent clue was spotted in a YouTube video DDG posted to document his and Halle’s Christmas day activities.

One eagle-eyed viewer noticed a detail while watching and zoomed in and reposted the video on TikTok.

In the close-up frame, it showed someone passing over a gift.

The tag revealed the present was for a person named Halo.

Halo was not mentioned in the video but fans believed, and was later confirmed, that it was the name of the couple’s new baby.

The video was captioned: “What a beautiful baby name.”

In the comment section of the video, fans swooned over the then-potential name.

Someone wrote: “Halo and Halle I love it.”

Another person said: “And she just made a song called Angel and she asks where’s her halo.”

“This makes me think that the whole Angel song by Halle Bailey is about the newborn…” added another fan.

OUT OF THE OVEN

To celebrate the holidays, Halle shared a video of her and DDG baking cookies on Snapchat.

Fans honed in on the moment the singer rose from her seat to grab a spatula, noting how she stood very slowly and grabbed the table for support.

After The Shade Room shared the clip on Instagram, one fan said: “She had to get up slow! She just had that baby lol I know that slow get up.”

A second agreed: “Oh [yeah] even by the way she got up.. she JUST had that baby.”

“Slid off that chair like a new mom, congratulations,” wrote a third social media user.

A fourth person claimed: “They just low-key revealed that the baby is here LOL. Congratulations!”

BABY IN THE BACKGROUND

In the week following the holidays, Halle and DDG made an appearance in a vlog by Brittany Jones documenting their Christmas.

The YouTuber filmed her family opening gifts in the living room of DDG’s Los Angeles home.

While Halle was not in the video, fans thought they could hear something revealing in the background.

A user reposted the clip onto X, formerly Twitter, for followers to focus on.

They titled the video: “A newborn baby can be heard crying on DDG’s Christmas vlog, prompting more speculation that Halle had his child.”

Faint crying could be heard in the background of the video and fans believed that Halle and DDG’s absence was due to a newborn baby.

The video, reposted by XXL Magazine, was captioned, “A newborn baby can be heard crying on DDG’s Christmas vlog.

The post prompted more speculation that Halle had already given birth to their child.

One person wrote, “Speculations? Lol, she done had it.”

A second fan claimed: “She had the baby already.”

“Why is she hiding the BABY?” questioned another.

THE RIGHT ANGLE

Last month, Halle appeared to have been hiding her pregnancy in an Instagram post and fans seemed to have figured out how.

The former Chloe x Halle member posted two selfies on her feed with the first showing Halle posing to the camera with her hair braided and slicked back from her face.

The star pouted and stared off-camera with a face of natural makeup.

Halle held onto her chest and wore a huge black jacket that was pulled down from her shoulders, but covered her chest and stomach.

The camera only showed the top half of her body, supposedly hiding a bump underneath.

The second photo showed the star in the same outfit, but this time smiling widely.

She appeared to be in a dressing room and captioned the photos: “Life can never break your soul.”

Many fans commented with admiration for the star’s looks, but some suggested her strategic use of camera angle was hiding her stomach.

One fan wrote: “You are exhausting lol we don’t care if you got knocked up by a lame TikTok rapper and ur not married!

“We are not the Lord and we won’t judge lol but girl you acting like you Beyoncé and trying to hide ur belly.”

Another asked: “You showing the bump on Christmas day?”

“Where that baby at gurl,” a third enquired.

One fan just left several pregnant woman emojis in question.
