JADA Pinkett Smith has left fans stunned as they say she looks unrecognizable in a new selfie.
Will Smith‘s wife shared the photo with the intention of showing off her winter style but instead drew comparisons to hip-hop artist Fat Joe.
Jada, 53, posed in front of a mirror with her phone in her hand.
She had on a brown and white puffer jacket that featured the pattern of a deer’s fur on it.
The Red Table Talk host paired the outerwear with white sweatpants and blue leg warmers.
She completed the outfit with gold aviator-style sunglasses and white sneakers.
Jada was completely bald in the photo, showing off her shiny bare head.
She joked in her caption: “I think jean leg warmers is where it’s at for me in 2024.
In the comments, several fans praised her daring look.
“Ok sis!! I see you!!!!! Bringing in 2024 right!!!” one fan commented

Others, meanwhile, noted that they had mistaken her for someone else.
“Jada Pinkett out here looking like a skinny version of Fat Joe,” one fan on X, formerly Twitter, joked.
Someone else wrote: “Fat Joe has gotten carried away with the dieting.”
“I thought Fat Joe got his hands on some Ozempic,” yet a third cracked.
Jada typically sports shorter hairstyles and has for many years.
She revealed in 2018 during an episode of Red Table Talk that she battles alopecia, which causes hair loss.
The actress said at the time: “I’ve been getting a lot of questions about why I’ve been wearing this turban.
“Well, I’ve been having issues with hair loss. And it was terrifying when it first started.”
NO LAUGHING MATTER
In March 2022, Jada faced backlash for making light of her alopecia diagnosis on several occasions.
In September 2021, Jade posted a video on her Instagram showing a woman with a similarly shaved hairstyle pretending to curl her hair.
She captioned it: “Me getting ready for the Emmy’s yesterday,” and added a laughing emoji.
In July 2021, she poked fun at her baldness again.
She posted a meme that read, “How it started vs. how it’s going” and included two pictures of her- one with long, curly hair and the other with a shaved head.
Months earlier, she reposted a TikTok video showing her hair changes through the years.
The audio in the video featured a man saying “d**n” repeatedly.
Jada captioned the clip: “This had me roll’n this morning.”
She added several laughing emojis.
Reddit users were quick to call the actress out about her own comments.
“It’s funny how she portrays herself as accepting and a strong woman figure, only to get butthurt at a joke and have her husband rectify the situation by putting his own career and image in jeopardy,” one critic wrote.
Another said: “Jada has alopecia. Why do people keep saying ‘alopecia’ like it’s some super serious condition? It’s literally the scientific term for baldness. She’s bald.”
The controversy over her jokes came after her husband Will, 55, famously slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars live show over a joke he made about Jada’s hair loss.
The comic quipped that he was looking forward to seeing her “star in G.I. Jane 2” – a reference to her baldness.
Jada was in the audience at the time and simply rolled her eyes.
Her husband chuckled as Chris continued his monologue.
Suddenly, however, Will stormed the stage and slapped him, leaving everyone stunned.
The moment was highly buzzed about and debated online and elsewhere.
BALD BEAUTY
Jada has for the most part embraced her battle with alopecia.
In an Instagram post from 2022, she wrote: “Now at this point I can only laugh… Y’all know I’ve been struggling with alopecia. So I thought I’d just share it so y’all not asking any questions…Mama’s gonna have to take it down to the scalp so nobody thinks she got brain surgery or something. Me and this alopecia are going to be friends … period!”
She went on: “Mama’s going to put some rhinestones in there, and I’m going to make me a little crown.”
Jada has been open with her fans and followers about her condition.
