John Cena has often expressed his admiration for Indian celebrities. From sharing posts about Rishi Kapoor to Irrfan Khan, the WWE wrester-actor never shies away from showing his love towards big Bollywood stars. Recently, a video featuring the Peacemaker actor went viral in which he is singing a Shah Rukh Khan song. Cena is in the gym and with his trainer, he sings Bholi Si Surat song from Dil Toh Pagal Hai movie.

The internet couldn’t keep calm the moment they saw this video online. Even John seems to be enjoying mouthing the lyrics with joy. But what if we tell you this isn’t the first time John Cena has shown his fondness for Shah Rukh Khan? In the past, the DC actor has shared SRK quotes and even tweeted to the superstar. Their banter had won the internet even in the past.

John had posted an inspiring SRK quote. The Suicide Squad actor shared- “Neither power nor poverty can make your life more magical or less torturous” Shah Rukh Khan”. Khan had replied sweetly to Cena’s post. The Dunki actor replied, “Thanks my friend for spreading the goodness. It’s important to inspire so many kids who look up to u as their hero.”

In another instance, John shared a news article about SRK’s Ted Talks video. The Jawan actor spoke about humanity, love and so much more. John posted the article on X and captioned it, “This was randomly put up in a small article, very glad i stumbled across it.” The superstar flaunted his wit and used the “You Can’t See Me” joke on Cena with a twist and replied, “thx for taking out time to ‘See’ it. Wish I can ‘See u’ someday. Love & health to u my man.”

Apart from this, John had also shared Instagram posts with SRK’s quotes written on them. The quote on one Instagram post reads, “Learn to laugh at yourself, at every chance you get. If you manage to learn to not take yourself too seriously, no matter how big shot you become, you’ll instantly disarm life’s power to beat you down.”

Another quote read, “It’s not necessary that the world will accept your creativity, but don’t give up on it.”

On the work front, John Cena was last seen in the 2023 film, Fast X. The actor also lent his voice as Rocksteady in the 2023 film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. He will be next seen in the Max series, Peacemaker Season 2. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan gave three back-to-back hits in 2023 with Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. The superstar has not officially announced any new project yet. However, reports state that he will feature in Sujoy Ghosh’s next directorial with daughter Suhana Khan.
