In the adorable image, the house cat slept on a couch.

The feline nearly wrapped its entire body with a yellow blanket.

The cat rested its head on a pink pillow and seemed to smile at the camera.

The Teen Mom 2 alum captioned the post: “How I sleep knowing I’ve done nothing wrong!”

However, in an online thread, critics did not find the caption funny and slammed his “defensive attitude.”

THE BACKLASH

One critic said: “If this were true, [David[ would be asleep instead of posting stupid old lady memes at 6:30 in the morning.”

Another critic added: “He’s scared, and posting s**t like this shows it. I hope he doesn’t get a wink of sleep.”

A third critic mentioned: “That’s the problem, David, you think you did nothing wrong. Which shows you will do it again in the future.”

A fourth person wrote: “David is definitely a little scaredy cat, so the picture fits.”

A commentator chimed: “David doesn’t care about anything, and clearly there’s zero remorse or accountability. Throw the book at him.”

‘FOUND ENOUGH EVIDENCE’

David’s post came after his child abuse charge became upgraded to a felony.

On Friday, a North Carolina court clerk exclusively told The U.S. Sun that the ex-MTV star was indicted for his alleged September attack on wife Jenelle Evans’ teen son, Jace, 14.

According to a clerk, David arrived in court on January 10.

“They found enough evidence to take his case out of district court, where misdemeanors are held, and bring it to superior,” the court spokesperson said.

“District court hears misdemeanors, traffic, and other infractions, whereas felony cases are heard in superior.”

The district attorney’s office confirmed a grand jury was held on the same date.

It was too soon to update the 35-year-old star’s child abuse case into their system.

THE ALLEGED ATTACK

David is accused of assaulting Jenelle’s eldest child outside a neighbor’s home in North Carolina.

In September 2023, the Teen Mom star allegedly attacked Jace before the teenager ran away for a third time.

David “willingly harmed” his stepson and caused marks on his arm and neck, according to court documents exclusively revealed by The U.S. Sun.

The Sun also revealed that David’s daughter Maryssa, 16, was questioned by child protective services after the alleged assault.

“Maryssa has spoken to CPS by now, and it was supposed to be with Jenelle and David’s lawyer present,” an insider claimed.

Meanwhile, the TV personality is banned from any interaction whatsoever with Jace, according to multiple sources.

David and Jenelle share their only daughter, Ensley, six, and she shares Kaiser, nine, with her ex Nathan Griffith.
