According to a law enforcement source, the investigation is “nearing its conclusion,” leading to the possibility of “multiple people” facing charges in connection to Perry’s tragic passing, which was linked to ketamine use.

At some point before his death, Matthew Perry claimed he was sober, but a rehab colleague alleged those claims were far from the truth as he couldn’t stand “tough love” from rehab and had “a lot of enablers” around him.

Perry’s Ketamine overdose happened to be a question that puzzled many at the time of his death, as it was understood that he’d been undergoing Ketamine Infusion therapy for anxiety and depression.

Even adding salt to injury was the report by his autopsy that stated that “the ketamine in his system at death could not be from that infusion therapy,” leaving many to wonder if he’d relapsed into using drugs. TMZ then reported that investigators were looking to decipher where the ketamine that “ended up playing a part” in his death came from.

“Law enforcement sources tell us there is an ongoing investigation into where Matthew got the ketamine that ended up playing a part in his death — and the main questions are who provided the drug, and under the circumstances,” the outlet reported.

In his 2022 memoir “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” Perry opened up about his struggles with drug addiction.

However, the actor noted that he was able to get sober 18 months before he was found dead with the help of a sober coach and a close friend of his. At the time, Perry said he didn’t enjoy it because it felt like a “giant exhale” that made him feel like he was “dying.”

Perry also claimed to have invested a Whooping $9 million in his sobriety efforts; however, a rehab colleague of his told the Daily Mail that he never did get clean.

“He lied to everyone about being clean. He never was. It is very sad. You know, the biggest lie he told was probably to himself,” Perry’s friend, who opted to remain anonymous, disclosed.
