Tom Cruise is very dedicated to his work and ensures his crew members do not fool around. The Hollywood A-lister has a pretty good reputation in the industry, barring the Scientology controversy, but he once lost his temper while doing Mission Impossible 7, aka Mision: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. An audio of him criticizing the crew members was allegedly published by a leading media outlet and at a studio in the UK.

The MI franchise led by Cruise is one of his most popular ones, and the fans eagerly wait for every part. However, MI 7 failed to create the same magic at the box office as its predecessors because of the Barbenheimer effect. It was released in the same month as Oppenheimer and Barbie. However, the actor has no time to get upset about that as he has already started filming MI 8, and the set photos have gone viral on social media.

Mission Impossible 7 was reportedly filmed during the pandemic, and Tom Cruise was also one of the film’s producers. He allegedly slammed crew members for not following the social distancing rules. The Sun published Cruise’s audio recording, where he was reportedly heard cursing and shouting at the staff.

As per reports, Tom Cruise was heard shouting, “I don’t ever want to see it again, ever! And if you don’t do it, you’re fired; if I see you do it again, you’re f*cking gone. And if anyone in this crew does it – that’s it, and you too, and you too … don’t you ever f*cking do it again.”

He continued, “That’s it! No apologies. You can tell it to the people that are losing their f*cking homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education.” According to The Guardian, Mission: Impossible 7’s shoot was delayed and hampered because of the lockdowns during the pandemic. Tom Cruise appealed to cultural secretary Oliver Dowden to let them restart the filming in London. As a result, Tom was angry when people were careless and allegedly standing too close to each other on the set.

Tom Cruise’s ranting continued as he reminded the Mission: Impossible 7 crew members that producers and insurance companies are looking up to them and using them to make their films. He blasted on the set, saying, “We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf*ckers … Movies are going because of us. If we shut down it’s going to cost people f*cking jobs, their home, their family. That’s what’s happening.” Later on, in an interview with Empire Magazine, he stood his ground and defended his outburst.

Tom Cruise explained that he was thinking about the people he works with and the industry. He was flooded with all sorts of emotions and has no regret about saying those things.

Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, and Vanessa Kirby starrer Mission: Impossible 7 is streaming on Prime Video.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise’s bloodied pictures allegedly from the set of Mission: Impossible 8 have gone viral on Twitter. Contrary to Tom’s short hair in MI 7, his character, Ethan Hunt, will be seen in long hair this time! He is seen running in front of London’s Houses of Parliament, and Big Ben is also visible in the pictures. Check out the pictures here:

Mission: Impossible 8 will be released in the theatres in May 2025.
