Katherine, 32, is set to leave FBI in Season 7, making her the fourth key star to quit the CBS law enforcement show, according to Deadline.

She joined the show in Season 3, and fans quickly came to like her character, Special Agent Tiffany Wallace.

Katherine was cast after Evonee Noel, who played Kristen Chazal, left the know.

It’s currently unclear why she plans to leave the show.

Immediately after her departure was reported, fans flocked to social media to express their sadness.

“I’m in shock. I can’t believe my favorite partnership is over. Tiff has grown so much (wish we got to learn more!) and her focus episodes are amongst the best. Katherine Renee Kane has been such a masterclass of acting these past few seasons so she will be missed,” posted a distraught fan on X.

“I’m truly disappointed,” penned another.

“WAIT WHAT WHAAAT NO NO NOOO NOT TIFF WHAT THE HELL WHYYYYY,” cried a third.

“I will miss her!” wrote a fourth fan.

“What’re these heartbreaks?” questioned another.

MAJOR EXITS

Katherine isn’t the first key star to leave the show

Julian McMahon left FBI back in January, stepping away from his role as Jess LaCroix on the show.

He began appearing on the show in 2020, and producers remained tight-lipped about his reasons for leaving.

The actor, however, suggested he was stepping away to pursue other roles.

“Over the past few months, the producers of FBI: Most Wanted and I have had discussions about my departure from the show in favor of additional creative pursuits and the transition of my character Jess LaCroix,” Julian said in a statement to Deadline at the time.

“These ongoing conversations have given us an opportunity to orchestrate a seamless and productive way for me to leave the show.”

He continued, “I would like to express the gratitude and admiration I have had working with [executive producers] Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski.”

“I’m extremely proud of the work we have done together and put the development of this show, and my character Jess, at the top of my professional experience list.”

His decision to depart FBI came just months after Kellan Lutz also decided to leave the show.

Kellan addressed his departure in an Instagram post, writing, “I’m extremely proud of the work we have done together and put the development of this show, and my character Jess, at the top of my professional experience list.”

The actor and his wife, Brittany Gonzales, welcomed a baby girl named Ashtyn in February 2021.
