Sydney starred alongside Glen Powell in the hit movie.

The film made $200 million at the Box Office, making it the first rom-com to do so since 2018’s Crazy Rich Asians.

The success seems to have paid Sydney well, as she flaunted her latest purchases in a new interview.

Sydney appeared on the cover of the Spring issue of Who What Wear Magazine.

On the cover, she wore a sleeveless woven plaid dress.

The skirt was bunched up to make a structured feature.

“I recently paid off my mom’s mortgage,” she said in the interview.

“[It was] a really big thing to be able to do,” she added.

Sydney went on to explain that her gift was to thank her mom for her continued support through the years.

“She takes care of everyone,” Sydney gushed.

Sydney Sweeney fans concerned for star as she appears in ‘weird’ ad with ‘uncomfortable’ message

“My mom grew up with barely anything. She got her GED when she was 16; she worked five jobs to put herself through school; she took care of her brothers,” she revealed to Variety.

The house is located outside of California, potentially in Washington, where Sydney is from.

Sydney didn’t reveal the value of the house, but properties roughly cost $560,000, according to the Daily Mail.

FAMILY LOVE

The star spoke of her close relationship with her family.

“I always dreamt of taking care of them,” she added when asked about her parents.

“I try to incorporate them into my life as much as possible, whether it’s talking with my cousins every other day or going home.”

We couldn’t afford life in L.A. We couldn’t afford life anywhere

Sydney grew up in Spokane, Washington.

“It was hard because L.A. is very different from Spokane,” she noted.

“The cost of a big city versus a small city is vastly different and challenging as well.”

Sydney also revealed that she bought her great-grandparents earlier this year.

PROPERTY EXPANSION

“My great-grandma had this beautiful house, two bedroom, cute house that they lived in,” she explained to Kelly on her talk show.

“My grandma was born in it. My mom was born in it, and then as the kids got older, they built on the property another home,” she added.

“And when my great-grandpa passed away and my great-grandma got old they just couldn’t afford to keep it anymore.”

Sydney explained that the upkeep of the property was too much.

“Last year I called up the owners, and I said I want to buy my great-grandmother’s house back,” she continued.

“And it’s really cool too, my granny still lives in the house next door.

“So, I’m neighbors with my granny now,” she concluded.

HARD TIMES

Sydney opened up about her financial difficulties in the past and told Women’s Health that her family had filed for bankruptcy at one point.

“We couldn’t afford life in L.A. We couldn’t afford life anywhere.”

Sydney took several jobs to help with money, including babysitting and being a tour guide at Universal Studios.

“It was hard because they were supporting my dream, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else,” she continued.

“I didn’t want to fail them. No matter how long it took, I was going to be in a TV show or a movie, and I wasn’t going to stop until something happened.”
