THE Voice’s season 23 winner Gina Miles looked around in shock as her name was read out as the show’s victor last May.
The 19-year-old’s rendition of “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak bagged the Illinois native the life-changing win.
Who is The Voice season 23 winner Gina Miles?
Gina Miles was the winner of The Voice season 23 in 2023.
Originally from Paxton, Illinois, she relocated to Sacramento shortly before auditioning for the program.
Regarding her inspiration to try out for The Voice, she often credits her father’s DJing career as her primary influence.
During the blind audition rounds of the show, Gina impressed judges Kelly Clarkson and Niall Horan with her rendition of Katy Perry’s The One That Got Away.
Ultimately, she chose to compete as a member of Niall’s team.
Throughout the season, she continued to win over the judges and audience.
“It was a big step for me, moving from a small town to California, and I really wanted to take music in a more serious way,” Gina told KCRA.
“My dad always talks about if you can make a career out of something that you love, then you win in life. I really took that to heart with music.”

Regarding her success during the season, the singer shared: “I’m just surprised to be here and really grateful and thankful always.
“It’s really crazy. I never thought I would make it this far. I’m really excited and grateful.”

What has Gina Miles done since winning The Voice?
Gina has been a busy bee since nabbing the top spot.
She clinched a deal with Universal Music Group subsidiary Republic Records following the dramatic win.
The star took to the stage for the fist time since her triumph to sing the national anthem at a firefighter graduation in Sacramento, California in June, 2023.

A few months later, Miles opened for Grammy award-nominee Jewel at The Venue at Thunder Valley.
Gina then performed a homecoming gig at The Cadillac in her hometown of Paxton, Illinois.
The star is yet to release her debut album, but alluded to what may inspire the maiden feat.
“[For] my EP, I wrote a lot of things that were not my own experience — just writing stories,” she told KCRA-TC.
“And now it’s become more of a diary, so it’s really exciting to have those new creative inspirations to draw from.”
Who won The Voice season 24?
Virginia native Michael Huntley was crowned the winner of the show’s 24th season after all four coaches turned during his audition.
Hailing from Fredericksburg, Virginia, Michael, who goes by the stage name Huntley, is an American singer and songwriter.
“I would say I’m singer-songwriter country, definitely southern blues rock ’n’ roll. All my favorite types of music -— a little bit of Joe Cocker, a little bit of John Mayer, a little bit of Bob Marley,” he said of his musical style.
After Carson Daly revealed Huntley as the winner the artist broke down in tears and raised his hand as confetti rained down on him.
Huntley performed Creed’s hit song Higher during part one of the season finale and it was enough to help secure him the victory.
