In her viral video, Hale (@thesinglewoman) stunned fans when she introduced her new husband — a former flame she reconnected with — prompting accusations of betrayal.

The footage shows the newlyweds lip-syncing a scene from the Disney animated film Tangled.

Sporting a long hair and a scruffy beard, Hale’s new husband announces that he “finally said yes” before admitting he “asked her” to marry him.

The clip then cuts to him with shorter hair and a neatly trimmed beard after getting a “glow-up” at a barber’s shop.

“That time I got married to the man I’ve loved for 17 years,” Hale wrote in the on-screen text.

“Hard launch,” she added in the caption.

The video has been viewed more than 330,000 times on Instagram, where fans shared their disbelief and outrage in the comments.

“Why do I feel like I’ve been betrayed?” one viewer asked.

“Cause we have been,” another replied.

Critics accused her of being a hypocrite and a liar after years of branding herself as a single woman.

“Gurl you owe us an explanation,” one commenter demanded

“Her advice is always never go back to an ex, yet she did 7 times. Aye yi yi,” another pointed out.

“Oh wow … so her whole brand has been a lie!!!!” a third agreed.

Many people announced that they would no longer follow her now that she is a married.

“Welp…time to unfollow. Because married people can’t give single people advice. Byeeeeee,” one former fan wrote.

“Sorry but unfollowing. Wish you the best tho,” someone else added.

“Congratulations. Will now unfollow since you’re not single anymore. Best wishes!” yet another said.

Despite the onslaught of criticism, some fans were genuinely happy for her and defended her right to get married.

Hale, who has written six books, shared more details about her and her husband’s on-again, off-again relationship on Facebook.

She explained that they met “17 years ago,” and she immediately knew he was the man she was meant to be with.

“I went home that night and told my mom I had met the boy I was going to marry,” she recalled.

Throughout their courtship, they broke up and got back together multiple times.

“Seven years ago we parted ways for what we both thought was the final time,” she said.

But she still wasn’t ready to let go.

Hale explained that she emailed him seven months ago to finally “make peace” and “find forgiveness.”

It took him seven months to text her back.

“On May the 7th we had our first (video) date in 7 years…where we realized this is our 7th time trying to make this crazy thing between us work,” she said.

“Seven days after we reconnected, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Seven days after that…he asked me to be his wife. And we had waited long enough. We were married that day.”

Hale noted the significance of the number seven in their relationship, explaining that it is a “biblical number” that “means completion.”

She added that “777 is also a twin flame number.”

The New York Times bestselling author hinted that she would be writing about their relationship in her next book.

“I always knew my story wouldn’t be like everyone else’s, but I never in my wildest dreams imagined it could be this beautiful,” she said.

“There’s so much more of the story to tell. And we will…in due time.

“Good thing my next book will be book #7.”
