A DRIVER who reserved a vehicle in advance for his own convenience ran into a major problem when he tried to pick it up.
The TikTok creator ran into the unexpected rental car reservation issue in Los Angeles, he explained in a video.

Fancytanci (@fancytanci) captioned the clip they shared on the app: “Los Angeles is not serving in the service front.”
The driver was standing outside of a Midway Car Rental location in the California city.
“Just came to get my car,” the guy said in the video.
“Confirmed yesterday, confirmed the reservation with a live person.”
Though he took the extra steps to talk to employees with business in advance to ensure a smooth rental process, that’s not what he faced once he got there to pick up his vehicle.
The TikTok creator said that, despite, making plans with Midway Car Rental with his reservation in advance, the employees at the location told him they had no automobiles.
“Today,” he started.
“Suddenly they don’t have any cars.”

Car rental companies run out of vehicles almost every day, according to USA Today.
About one percent of car rentals aren’t honored because a car isn’t available, the news publication added.
Part of the reason this happens is because rental companies accept more reservations than they can handle, anticipating some drivers won’t show up.
