Zach Evans is a man that wear many hats: pianist, producer, musician, content creator, and entrepreneur. He chatted about his latest endeavors and being a part of the digital age.
“Superman” actor Christopher Reeve once said: “So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.” This quote applies to Zach Evans.
Background on Zach Evans
Evans is a professional pianist and piano teacher specializing in the art of accelerated learning; using what we know about the brain to learn piano faster and more efficiently.
Evans has taught hundreds of students, both in-person and online. He grew up in Wisconsin, and attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. There, he studied piano under Dr. Eli Kalman, honing his skills and knowledge and developing his method of learning.
After graduating, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he earned a reputation as one of the top piano teachers in the area.
While there, he started posting his teachings online and quickly grew a following of students interested in learning faster and more effectively. Evans currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Daily inspirations
On his daily inspirations as an artist, Evans said, “As a pianist, producer, and entrepreneur, I’m driven by my love for creativity and the endless possibilities that music offers. Whether it’s composing, producing, or performing, the process of bringing ideas to life through sound is something that excites me every day.”
“On the entrepreneurial side, I thrive on the challenge of building something from the ground up—constantly refining my skills, learning new strategies, and pushing myself to improve,” he noted.
“The combination of artistic expression and business strategy keeps me motivated, as every day presents an opportunity to grow, innovate, and reach more people with my work,” he added.
Future plans
Regarding his future plans, Evans shared, “Right now, my primary focus is on expanding my team and empowering other pianists to build their own successful channels.”
“I’m actively training talented musicians, providing them with the guidance, resources, and revenue-sharing opportunities they need to grow,” he noted.
Evans continued, “My goal is to create a network of thriving piano educators who can reach and inspire more people worldwide. The model is already proving successful—two of the pianists I’ve recently brought on have already surpassed 100,000 subscribers, and their channels are growing rapidly.”
“Looking ahead, I want to continue scaling this approach, refining the systems, and helping even more pianists turn their passion into a sustainable career,” he added.
The digital age
On being a part of the digital age, Evans explained, “I truly believe this is the luckiest time to be alive. The Internet has completely changed the game, making it possible for anyone with just a phone and an Internet connection to start a business, share their passion, and build an audience.”
“What once required massive resources and industry connections can now be done from a bedroom, reaching people all over the world in a matter of seconds,” he noted.
“The ability to scale quickly, connect with like-minded individuals, and create something meaningful on a global level is unprecedented. It’s an incredible time to be a creator, entrepreneur, and musician, and I feel grateful to be part of it,” he expressed.
Career-defining moments
On his career-defining moments, he revealed, “One of the most defining moments in my career, as simple as it may sound, was moving out of Wisconsin.”
“Leaving behind everything familiar and stepping into a completely new environment pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. It forced me to grow, adapt, and surround myself with like-minded people—people who were just as driven and focused on reaching the top,” he explained.
“That shift in environment had a massive impact on my mindset, work ethic, and overall trajectory. It taught me that where you place yourself matters, and being around ambitious, high-level thinkers can elevate you in ways you never expect,” he elaborated.
Evans reflects on his TED Talk
“Giving a TED Talk was an incredible experience—both exciting and transformative,” Evans exclaimed.
“A lot of people don’t realize that once you’re invited, you go through an extensive training process to refine your public speaking skills. That process really helped me hone my ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.”
“It pushed me to think deeper about how to connect with an audience in a meaningful way. And of course, my mom was absolutely pumped—seeing her excitement made the experience even more special,” he added.
Evans on Bastiano Ferrari
Evans had great words about Bastiano Ferrari, who is an actor, model, producer, tech innovator, and philanthropist.
“I met Bastiano Ferrari about five or six years ago, and he has been one of my closest friends,” he admitted. “We’ve traveled together, shared some incredible experiences, and it has been a wild ride ever since.”
“Bastiano is one of those rare people who bring energy, creativity, and a sense of adventure to everything he does. Whether it’s business, movies, or just life in general, having someone like Bastiano in my corner has made the journey even more exciting,” he acknowledged.
Advice for young and aspiring artists and content creators
For young and emerging musicians, producers, and content creators, he said, “My biggest piece of advice is simple: take action immediately and stay consistent.”
“So many aspiring musicians, producers, and content creators hesitate because they’re worried about what people will think—how they look, how they sound, or whether their work is ‘good enough.’ But the truth is, in the beginning, you’re probably going to struggle, and that’s completely normal,” he explained.
“The key is pushing through that learning curve. No one expects perfection right away, and honestly, most people aren’t scrutinizing your work as much as you think,” he noted.
“What really matters is showing up, improving with each piece of content, and staying committed. The sooner you start, the sooner you grow, and the people who stick with it are the ones who eventually break through,” he elaborated.
Success
On his definition of the word success, Evans stated, “To me, success isn’t just about achieving a specific milestone or hitting a certain number—it’s about growth, fulfillment, and the impact you create along the way.”
“It means waking up every day excited about what you’re doing, continuously improving, and pushing yourself to new heights,” he noted.
“Success is also about freedom—the ability to create on your own terms, build something meaningful, and live a life that aligns with your passions,” he explained.
“Ultimately, success is about contribution—helping others, inspiring people, and leaving a lasting mark in whatever field you are in,” he added.
Message for his fans and supporters
For his fans and supporters, Evans remarked, “I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. Whether you’ve been here from the start or just discovered my work, your support means everything.”
“Every comment, like, share, and message of encouragement keeps me going and pushes me to create even more. I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without you, and I’m beyond grateful for this community,” he said, effusively.
“There is so much more to come, and I’m excited to keep growing and sharing this journey with you all,” Evans concluded.
