The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, March 28, reveal that Henry Joseph Samiri will reprise the role of Douglas Forrester, so look for Douglas to join Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for a tough conversation.
Douglas will wonder what’s up when Thomas and Hope sit him down to discuss where things stand between them.
Although Douglas was hoping his parents might marry and have a real future together, he’s about to face a painful blow.
Of course, Hope and Thomas will do their best to smooth things over and downplay their breakup.
There’ll inevitably be a lot of talk about how they’ll always be a family – and Douglas’ parents love for him will never change.
However, Thomas told Hope that he couldn’t be around her anymore since it’s just too painful, so he’s planning to leave for Paris – and he wants to take Douglas with him.
Hope seemed horrified over that suggestion, but she hasn’t really moved past her shock over all this yet.
It’s not fair for Thomas to just make the sole decision to leave the country with Douglas, so Hope really needs to weigh in here.
There’s no chance of Hope willingly letting Thomas relocate Douglas forever, but she might work out some sort of arrangement and get on board with a father-son trip for now.
It might make it easier for Douglas to deal with Hope and Thomas’ split if he’s busy on a Paris adventure, so Hope may not stand in the way – at least for a little while.
Regardless, B&B spoilers say Hope and Thomas’ conversation with Douglas is sure to be a heartbreaking one all around.
This isn’t the outcome Thomas and Hope want when it comes to their relationship, but they just can’t get on the same page about this marriage issue.
Once Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gets updates on Thomas taking her advice and breaking things off with Hope, she’ll be over the moon!
Steffy will take a moment to celebrate her win and the fact that Thomas is free.
Naturally, Steffy will also enjoy Hope’s heartache since she thinks it’s what her rival deserves.
This is all building to yet another faceoff between Hope and Steffy before the week’s over, so stay tuned to see how the news of Hope and Thomas’ split will fuel their conflict.
