Tessa Blanchard is an extremely successful pro-wrestler with Impact Wrestling. She’s part of wrestlings Blanchard dynasty, as her father and grandfather went pro. Blanchard just shared a new set of swimsuit photos on Instagram. In one, she stood in a rock in a lake, wearing a black bikini and sunhat. Blanchard has to stay in shape in order to wrestle. She makes sure to work out her entire body. Blanchard does a lot of upper body and arm workouts to stay in shape. She shares a lot of her favorite exercises on Instagram. In this photo, Blanchard is seen doing pull-ups at the gym. She captioned the post, “Thoroughbred.” Blanchard shared a lot of her favorite arm workouts in this video, including herself using battle-ropes and swinging axes. Lastly, in this set of videos, Blanchard is seen flipping a large tire.
Blanchard also makes sure to work out her lower body and legs. One exercise that she likes to do is squats. Blanchard usually does squats with different weights. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing squats with a dumbbell while a trainer spots her. She also shared this video, captioning it, “A couple months ago @ifarias23 told me we needed to get my squat stronger, so we’ve been working on it! Tonight I reached a new PR of 315lbs! Blanchard opened up about her career in an interview with My San Antonio. She says that she wants to branch out her career from her family’s and is pushing herself to new accomplishments. “I always wanted to make my mark in a different way. I don’t want to be the second something and I don’t want to make history in the same way as other people. I want to do it in a different way — something that’s unique to me and unique to my style of wrestling. And I feel like I’ve been able to do that.”
Throughout her career, Blanchard has taken advice and had support from her father. She opened up about their relationship to My San Antonio. “He’s mentoring me a little bit. And, you know, he always does though — through life and through wrestling. He always offers his knowledge and advice, and I value it more than anything. I won’t give too much of an insight on that, because I got to have a few tricks up my sleeve for January.”
Blanchard is happy with her career. She tells My San Antonio that she doesn’t have any regrets in life. “Maybe things didn’t work out because they weren’t supposed to. And now it’s all starting to make sense of why. Because everything that I’ve been through, all the ‘Nos” that I was told and all the opportunities that fell through or that I turned away, just gut feeling, has led me to this. It’s really kind of a neat thing how the universe works. Everything’s led me to this, so I wouldn’t change anything.”
