This is SOUND ADVICE, a weekly destination for playlists curated by Interview’s friends, enemies, and lovers. Over the past few weeks, we’ve gathered playlists from Eric Farber, Devon Ross, and Bapari. This week’s guest is L.A.’s resident musical renaissance man, Loren Kramar. The vocalist, instrumentalist, and visual artist is following up his beautifully scored November release, “Hollywood Blvd,” (whose video starred Kramar and John Early) with “Glovemaker,” another single, dropping today, full of the same orchestral drama and tied together by Kramar’s velvet-smooth vocals. He brought those same vibes to the playlist he curated us. While you treat your ears to Prince, Elton John and Eartha Kitt, discover Kramer’s favorite L.A. highways for Bird scootering and the secret to his dashing facial hair.
