A content creator named Christina, who often shares handy tips and tricks on social media, has shared her six ‘Dollar Tree Winter Hacks’ – and they’re bound to make your life loads easier.

Posting online, the influencer revealed her six top tips – and thanks to these hacks, you won’t spend any more than $9 – yes, you heard that right.

Christina explained that firstly, to ensure her car windscreen stays clear whatever the weather, she uses tarpaulin, which you can nab from for just $1.25.

In addition to this, Christina uses Stand & Fill expandable bottom zip lock bags, which are just $1.25 a pack.

Thanks to these slider bags, which Christina puts on her wing mirrors, you’ll save yourself plenty of time in the morning trying to wipe off frost and snow.

After applying the tarpaulin to her windscreen, the next day, Christina removed the blue sheet, to reveal her clean windscreen, that otherwise would have been covered in snow, like the rest of her car.

In addition to this, Christina also uses a microfiber washmitt, which you’ll be able to nab for $1.25.

With this, she uses the XtraCare extra thick shave foam, in the soothing aloe scent, which is also only $1.25.

Christina uses the washmitt to apply the shaving cream to her windscreen, which according to her, “will prevent ice from building up on windows”.

She also applies the shaving cream to the inside of her windscreen too, to “prevent fog”.

Dollar Tree’s $1 Makeup Dupes: Fans Flock Amid Store Closures

But that’s not all, as Christina also uses $1.25 moisture eliminators in her car, to trap excess moisture, eliminate tough odors and prevent water damage.

Christina then shared her clever hack that many of us may not have ever considered before.

Dollar Tree pricing

Despite the name of the store, Dollar Tree recently added items that cost more than $1 to its inventory.

Most items at the store cost no more than $1.25, but items in the Dollar Tree Plus section cost up to $5.

Dollar Tree introduced Plus aisles to 100 locations in 2019 as part of an effort to diversify its products.

By 2022, Dollar Tree had added the items to over 1,500 locations.

“We believe testing additional price points above $1 for Dollar Tree products will enable us over time to expand our assortments, introduce new products and meet more of our customers’ everyday needs,” president and CEO Michael Witynski said in a statement.

“Our brand promise is that customers get great value for what they spend at Dollar Tree. We will continue to be fiercely protective of that promise, regardless of the price point.”

The savvy shopper uses the Healthy Chef Canola non-stick cooking spray, which is also just $1.25, which she wipes over the inside of her car doors.

To this, she explained: “Cooking spray will prevent doors from freezing shut.”

And that’s not all, as she also uses cat litter, which costs just $1.25 a bag, to create her very own ‘emergency toilet’.

Dollar Tree dupes

And finally, the TikTok user revealed the sixth hack she swears by – which involves using a piece of folded up cardboard in a small tin, which she keeps in her vehicle and lights for when she needs “emergency heat”.

In total, Christina’s hacks cost her only $8.75 – not only are they incredibly purse-friendly, but they’re sure to save you a lot of time and hassle too.
