Paulina Gretzky is heating up social media this summer. While the season hasn’t officially started, the daughter of NFL legend Wayne Gretzky, who has made a name for herself as an influencer, is already flaunting her famous figure in a skimpy bikini. “Unbothered,” she captioned the stunning series of snaps. How does the beauty keep herself fit? Keep reading for her best diet and fitness tips.
Paulina is “blessed with incredible genes,” but the equation to staying in shape is simple. She is disciplined when it comes to her diet and she moves. “But it’s really 70-percent diet and 30-percent working out,” she told Golf Digest.
Paulina does various workouts. “It’s all about fitting in some exercise wherever you are,” she says. “I used to run every day, and I absolutely loved it. It was like meditation for me. I also loved kickboxing. What really kept me in great shape was dancing. Lately, I’ve been constantly on the go, so I don’t get to run much anymore. Now I’m doing workout videos every day. If you don’t want to go to the gym and would rather work out alone, all you have to do is find a workout on YouTube,” she told Golf Digest.
Paulina eats healthy most of the time. But she also understands the importance of cheat meals. “It’s as simple as Everything in Moderation. I’ll eat pizza and cheeseburgers, but I won’t do it every day,” she told Golf Digest.
Paullina loves Tennis. “Same time next week,” she captioned a series of snaps from the court. According to ACE Fitness, tennis combines cardio and aerobic exercise, as it involves a lot of running around and requires hand-eye coordination. “While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility, and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding,” they say.
Paulina is married to pro golfer Dustin Johnson and regularly hits the course with him. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf’s health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
