Don’t deprive yourself of anything because eventually you’ll crave it and then you might binge on it. Everything in moderation,” Nicole told Women’s Health UK. So, what healthy foods does she eat to fuel her body? “For breakfast I love eggs and toast and smoked salmon or bacon, or porridge. For lunch I like maybe some soup or some sushi. For dinner, anything from pasta to rice, and meats and veggies, to sushi. When I’m going to indulge, I love pasta, pizza, I love Mexican with lots of cheese. I love French fries, or crisps – salt and vinegar crisps. In terms of snacks: almonds, coconut water, bits of coconut, baby carrots.”

Nicole makes sure to mix up her workouts. “In a typical workout I would run on the treadmill, maybe 20 mins, then try to do some squats, some sit-ups on the exercise ball, some yoga stretches,” she told Women’s Health. But that’s not the only workout that keeps her in shape. “When I’m home I like to take a spinning class called Soul Cycle or I like to do hot yoga – a modified version of bikram yoga – or hiking, and core power yoga in LA.” And of course, she dances. “I mean, I heard that dancing and laughing gives you better abs than crunches anyway,” she captioned a recent post.

“Me and my girlfriends support each other for the gym. Because, you know, it’s hard to be motivated sometimes, so when you go you push each other, – we try to do different things. We’ll go hiking one day and then we’ll try a sculpting hot yoga class, then we’ll do a cardio. We just motivate each other,” she told Women’s Health. She also works out with her partner, Thom Evans. “I think it’s really important,” she explained to The Times Weekend magazine. “I mainly exercise for my mental health. The positive endorphins help me be creative, and Thom is the king of working out, so he motivates me. He says, ‘Come on, you’ll feel so much better afterwards,’ and I’m so competitive I’ll be, like, ‘OK!'”

Nicole’s lifestyle is incredibly active. Her Instagram account is filled with all of her outdoor activities, including going on walks, hiking, jet-skiing, and surfing.

“I travel so much it’s so important for me to sweat it out. It’s not only for physical being, but mostly for my mental well-being. It keeps me centered, focused, strong and helps me get in the right frame of mind for my work ahead. Preparation is key. Prepare yourself so when the opportunity comes, you are ready!” she wrote on Instagram.

Nicole knows the importance of beauty sleep. “Get lots of sleep – sleep really makes such a huge difference,” she told Women’s Health.

For many years Nicole was incredibly disciplined with exercise. “But things have changed — I used to work out three times a day,” she told the Times Weekend Magazine. “I’m pretty disciplined. If I’m preparing for tour videos, then sure, I’ll put in the work. But the rest of the time I have to find a balance. I’ll say, ‘OK. It’s the holidays. I’m just going to eat whatever I want and enjoy myself . . . and wear my stretchy pants.'”

“Everybody is different, so you have to listen to your body,” she told NetDoctor. “And you have to listen to it by taking care of yourself the best that you can. Getting in a little bit of a walk or a workout, sleeping when you can, and just trying to make conscious choices. Then you have your days where you have your fish and chips. You want your Sunday roast with extra gravy – go for it on that Sunday! And then get back in to it.”
