Her Zindagi reports that Mouni is a trained Kathak dancer, spending at least 30 minutes per day moving her body. You can find videos of her dancing all over her Instagram account. “The best exercise is the one that you enjoy doing, mostly because you will continue to do it over time. If you can’t stand lifting weights or the treadmill then ballet dancing can be a great way for you to get, and stay in phenomenal shape,” says NAMHPAC. “It doesn’t matter if you have a background in dancing or if you are a beginner with no experience, anyone can start ballet dancing. Once you have given it a try, you might find that you are addicted and want to come back again and again.”

According to Her Zindagi, Mouni avoids overfilling her stomach with large portions of food. Instead, she eats mini meals every two hours, keeping hunger pangs at bay and revving her metabolism. Another trick: “The eye can be deceiving. It’s human nature to fill the space on a plate with food. So if you grab a large plate, you’re probably dishing up larger portions than you need. Instead, reach for a smaller plate or glass,” says the Mayo Clinic. And: “When a serving bowl of spaghetti or a plate of bread remains on the table, it can be all too tempting to reach for seconds. Instead, keep food out of sight on the stovetop or kitchen counter. You’ll have to think twice (or three times) before standing up and going for seconds, which might be all you need to decide if you’re still hungry.”

Mouni maintains that prioritizing hydration is one of her top health habits. According to Her Zindagi she drinks at least 10 glasses per day, which helps remove toxins and keeps her skin glowing.

Mouni makes sure to keep her diet fresh and clean by cooking her own food and not eating out very much. However, she does have a few go-to cheat meals, including junk food, Chinese food, and Sprite.

Yoga and mediation helped change Mouni’s mindset and positively impacted her body, she explained in one of her Instagram posts. “It is so so imp to include yoga in daily life for a person’s body, mind and soul,” she wrote. ” Start slow and steady, simple things, what your body can adapt quickly, slowly you ll see your body and mind asking for more. Replace the craving for bad with the good. Slow & steady. One tiny change at a time. And tog it ll bring the physical and mental discipline which ll have a positive impact on your entire day, helps me be way less vague & anxious than I used to be before. I hope for all of us to continue and let go of all the garbage that we don’t need in our minds and lives and bring positive changes lil by lil err’yday.”
