Josh Allen proudly announced his engagement to Hailee Steinfeld on Friday. His ex-girlfriend, Brittany Williams, appeared to respond to the news with a vicious shot at the NFL quarterback on social media.
However, she claims that she was not the person who posted the nasty comment from her account.
Allen started dating the multi-platinum recording artist and Oscar-nominated actress at some point during the 2023 calendar year. Williams dated Allen for approximately six years prior to that point. They got together in 2017. They broke up approximately one month prior to the arrival of Steinfeld.
Williams is currently dating someone new. His identity is unknown. She has not formally launched the relationship on social media.
Allen is officially engaged to be married as of Nov. 22, 2024.
Not long after the Buffalo Bills’ star signal-caller broke the news of his engagement, Williams appeared to get snarky online. She seemingly responded back to a troll in her comment section on Instagram and referred to Allen as a “brain dead” athlete with CTE.
As could be expected, the comment from Williams’ account was widely considered to be unnecessarily rude and completely uncalled for. There was no need to go that far and she should know better than to respond to a troll in the first place.
In response to the backlash, Williams offered a statement of clarification on her story about six hours later and claimed she was hacked. That definitely was not her who made a very specific comment about her current relationship (that nobody knew anything about) and her ex-football player boyfriend.
My accounts have been hacked several times tonight. Trying to get it resolved. If anyone has any tips please lmk 🙏🥺

Is Brittany Williams telling the truth? Maybe. Is she lying? We don’t know.
Either way, the comment from her account about Josh Allen is a bad look. He’s taking the high road and has yet to comment.
