Amidst reports that the high-profile couple is headed for divorce, reports indicate that Jennifer Lopez reached out to Ben Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner to seek advice.
In a Daily Mail article saying that Garner has concerns that Affleck could “relapse”, sources say that Lopez has been “confiding” in Ben’s ex-wife about their current relationship.
“Insiders have claimed Lopez has turned to Garner for help as she is one of a few people who can fully relate to her current predicament. J. Lo has been confiding in Jen because she knows that she is one of the only people in the world who would understand what she is going through.”
Affleck began dating Garner after his first stint with Lopez ended, with the pair getting married in 2005. After they divorced in 2018, Affleck dated a handful of women before rekindling his romance with Lopez in 2021 before getting married in 2022.
Sources say, however, that Affleck has now “come to his senses” regarding the marriage and has come out of the “fever dream” that’s been the last two years.
Lopez was asked about her relationship during an event for her new Netflix film Atlas and quickly shut down the unprofessional reporter who asked the question.
“You know better than that,” Lopez told the reporter during the awkward exchange.
Even if the pair get divorced in the coming months, their professional endeavors complicate things as Affleck’s production company Artists Equity is producing Lopez’s new movie Unstoppable, which is about famed one-legged wrestler Anthony Robles.
Lopez’s latest film Atlas, which she stars in alongside Liu, Mark Strong, and Sterling K. Brown, releases on Netflix on Friday, May 24.
