This is SOUND ADVICE, a weekly destination for playlists curated by Interview’s friends, enemies, and lovers. Over the past few weeks, we’ve gathered playlists from Naomi Sharon, Sasha Colby, and horsegiirL. This week’s installment comes courtesy of DJ and producer Skype Williams, whose tunes you might recognize from your favorite runway soundtracks and sceney afterparties. By day, he’s the gallery director at the compact Fierman Gallery in Dimes Square, but the NYC native is a “music person” at heart. “There are songs I listen to in every season, and these are from the fall playlist,” he tells us, and you’re going to need more than two hands to count all of the genres incorporated, from Alanis Morissette to Brooklyn drill to Dissensus jazz. Plus, Williams flexes his dance skills and laments his post-gig diet in our questionnaire.
