NASCAR legend Danica Patrick just went on vacation to Europe. And she made sure to show off her amazing body while she was there. Danica just shared a photo of herself on a boat in a red bikini on her Instagram. She captioned it, “I don’t know why I ever leave Europe in the summer. It’s such a vibe. The food, architecture, weather, water, pace of life, lack of tipping, and chemtrails. Haha. I did lose my phone while I was there, and credit cards and ID…. 8 days with zero technology. If I didn’t respond to a message, it’s lost in the cloud…. Like I am here in this picture… and where I wish I still was! ☀️” Here are 5 of the secrets behind Danica Patrick’s bikini body.

Danica shared some of her workout secrets in an interview with Sports Illustrated. She likes to do a lot of different things to keep herself in shape. “I do 30 minutes to an hour of cardio. I’ve done extreme yoga, in a room heated to more than 100 degrees. I’ve also been lifting pretty hard lately. I focus on upper body: shoulder, upper and lower back, core and abdominals.”

Danica doesn’t just switch up what workout she’s doing, but when she’s working out. She tells Sports Illustrated that she’s seeing results because of this. “The fact that I do get up early has changed, because I do not work out at 6:30. It’s a lot different. To me, the fun thing about fitness is that it should evolve because your body needs the evolution; it needs change, it needs variation. So, I mean nowadays, most of the time I work out mid-morning or mid-afternoon, sometimes both.”

Danica loves to practice yoga to keep herself in shape. “Yoga is something that I started back up at the beginning of last year, and I really liked getting back into it,” she told Sports Illustrated. “I used to do it a long time ago, but I got away from it. I wouldn’t say I ever use yoga as a workout; I use it as an addition. But I really do enjoy it. I think it’s good for my body and my mind. I think that in fitness you need strength, flexibility and endurance.”

One of Danica’s health secrets is thinking positive thoughts. “You are creating your life day by day with your thoughts,” she explains to Good Morning America. “Think positive things. Believe in yourself. Have great reasons for why you’re doing what you’re doing. Eat good food because food is medicine. You’re either adding to your well-being or reducing your well-being.”

Danica shared some of her favorite workouts in her Good Morning America interview. She says that she does a lot of burpees. “The burpee is probably the most effective, full-body movement and there’s so many ways you can slightly modify it to make it more hard,” Danica explained.
