Casper Ruud's Sister Caroline in Workout Gear Shares Back Workout Video

Caroline Ruud is working out her back. In a new social media post, tennis star Casper Ruud’s sister shows off her amazing body in workout clothes as she gets her sweat on at the gym. “Don’t skip the upper body sessions girlsšŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ¤Ŗ! ” she captioned the post. What does her workout consist of and what other habits are responsible for her amazing body? Here is everything you need to know.

“Training the upper body and especially the back is the best way to get this hourglass illusion that all girls wantā³šŸ™ŒšŸ» Here is an example of a good upper body exercise to develop a more defined back and hourglass figure,” Caroline explains in the post, demonstrating a few exercises including pullups, rowing, face pull, pull downs, and reverse fly.

Caroline is a big advocate for strength training and recently revealed “3 tips for girls who want to start.” First, she suggests following a workout program. Next, “Track your workouts and use a workout journal,” she writes. Finally, “Remember that rest and rest won’t ruin your progression.”

In addition to strength training, Caroline runs. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.Ā

When Caroline is working out, you will always find a bottle of water in her hand. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

It comes as no surprise that like her brother, Caroline enjoys playing tennis. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. “While tennis provides numerous health benefitsā€”improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and powerā€”it also is psychologically demanding,” they say.Ā
