ARIANA Madix and Katie Maloney’s sandwich shop Something About Her’s opening delay drama has been filmed for Vanderpump Rules, The U.S. Sun can exclusively report.
The reality stars were hoping for a January 2024 opening date, as reported by The U.S. Sun, but it has since been “put on hold.”

Now, an insider is sharing more insight on the behind-the-scenes drama of what’s to come in season 11.
“The drama for next season is wild, but what’s even more shocking are all the issues Something About Her has been dealing with,” a source told The U.S. Sun.
“Everything about what’s going on with the store is going to unfold this season and give fans the answers they’ve been seeking.”
Furious fans demanded to know the opening date of the business after the VPR stars launched new merchandise in December.
The source continued, “Ariana and Katie made it seem like they knew what they were getting into when it came to opening a shop, but the reality is, they are not business people and took on more than they could handle.
“Lisa Vanderpump had to step in and give them a lot of advice.”

What fans will see this season is scenes that were set up for the show to “continue a storyline,” the insider claimed.
“There have been a lot of staged scenes at Something About Her to basically continue the storyline about the shop.”

“It’s actually not even close to opening, but Ariana and Katie have been teasing the store as if it’s opening, like, tomorrow,” they added.
So far, the business owners filmed a sandwich tasting at Something About Her for season 10.
Their co-stars, including Lala Kent and Scheana Shay, have all gotten a bite at the tasting menu before even opening.
In October 2023, Ariana, 38, and Katie, 36, filmed a scene for the upcoming season at the closed shop with what appeared to be patrons and a production crew.
According to Reality Blurb, Katie posted a video at the time on her Instagram from Something About Her letting fans know that the shop wasn’t empty.
Tom Schwartz’s ex asked Ariana, “Is it empty or is it… empty,” while adding, “It doesn’t look empty.”
Ariana agreed, remarking, “Not to me!”
SOMETHING NEW
New photos exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun show that the owners have more work to do as they are back to square one with the front patio.
There once was a “Something About Her” sign, a yellow and white awning, and a square-shaped patio for outdoor dining that was situated in the front of the store.
But now, all has been taken down after learning they didn’t have proper city permits, according to a source.
As of last month, the Bravolebrities had to file a new permit with the City of West Hollywood, proposing a different outdoor dining area and a new canopy that’s permissible within limits, as indicated by signage on the front door.
A source said, “They’re not giving up hope since the outdoor dining area would be beneficial to the business and will allow for more seating space.”
The front patio is only one of the many ongoing issues the stars have been facing with the health department.
IS IT OPENING?
Ariana and Katie have tip-toed around questions related to their shop since it’s part of the upcoming season and could not be spoiled.
Last month, Ariana last told BravoTV.com that they are “still in red tape limbo” and are waiting on the next round of inspections.
She said, “We have an incredible menu. Amazing staff. Very excited people ready to go. So we’re just kind of waiting on that thumbs up, that stamp of approval.”
However, a source told The U.S. Sun that “no staff” – other than a few that are involved in getting it up and running – has even been hired yet since there is no opening date.
The business owners have continued to profit from the store since they dropped a line of merchandise in the summer of 2023, yet have not sold a single sandwich.
Ariana will perform on Broadway as Roxie Hart in Chicago for an 8-week limited engagement from January 29, 2024, through March 24.
An insider told The U.S. Sun, “Ariana is not really involved right now.
“Everything has pretty much been left on Katie, and she can’t do it alone.”
The source continued, “I don’t even know if it is opening at this point.”
