De Armas tells Allure that she makes skin care a priority. She says that she starts her routine first thing in the morning. “I make sure that after I wake up, I wash my face. I put on all my serums and sunscreen in the morning.” “Sunscreen agents are used to prevent sunburn. Limiting your exposure to the sun and using sunscreen agents when in the sun may help prevent early wrinkling of the skin and skin cancer. There are two kinds of sunscreen agents: chemical and physical. Chemical sunscreen agents protect you from the sun by absorbing the ultraviolet (UV) and visible sun rays, while physical sunscreen agents reflect, scatter, absorb, or block these rays,” says the Mayo Clinic.

De Armas loves to wear makeup, and she makes sure that she doesn’t make the mistake of going to bed in it. She tells Allure, “At night, if I put makeup on that day, I take the makeup off. I wash my face again and I put on all of the serums plus eye cream… the whole thing! I’ve become very protective of my little creams.”

When De Armas has an important job coming up, she makes sure to prioritize her skin care. She tells Allure that she likes to get certain treatments, like facials, before she starts. “I have very sensitive skin, and it can be very reactive to all the makeup I have to put on every day when I’m shooting. The day before I try not to get a facial or exfoliate or do anything too crazy. I just let it be, and do my usual routine. I try not to think about it because I swear to God, if I stress too much, I get a pimple. It never fails.”

De Armas says to Allure that she prioritizes her self-care routine. She has her own meditation room in her home, and makes time for herself in her schedule. “I recently built a meditation room — it’s a beautiful space for myself, and I can go there to [relax] or read. It just feels really good.”

When De Armas was preparing for her role as a Bond girl, she had to do a lot of exercise to prepare. She says that she likes to keep her training fun and interesting, so she stays motivated to do so. “I do something different every day — one day boxing, the next spinning or weight training — to not get bored,” she revealed to OK! Magazine. “Exercise makes me happy, but it has to be fun.”
