Slipknot Add Two Mexico Dates to 25th Anniversary Tour

Slipknot have added two Mexico dates to their 25th anniversary tour, including their first-ever headlining show in Mexico City.

The band will play Guadalajara on November 8th and Mexico City the following evening on November 9th. After a month off, Corey Taylor and company will then embark on their previously announced European leg in December. Get tickets here.

Stateside fans will also have numerous chances to catch Slipknot in 2024. The group has a slew of US festival dates on the books including Sick New World on Saturday (April 27th), Welcome to Rockville in early May, Sonic Temple in mid-May, Rocklahoma on September 1st, Louder Than Life in late September, and Aftershock in October.

Previously, Slipknot percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan stated that Slipknot will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled LP by playing the album in full during their 2024 tour, although it is unclear whether they will do so at their festival gigs.

Additionally, the upcoming shows will be Slipknot’s first with their new, as-yet-unnamed drummer — though fan speculation points to ex-Sepultura pounder Eloy Casagrande being behind the kit following the dismissal of Jay Weinberg last year.
