Thursday night in Los Angeles one of the most eclectic groups of celebrities to ever be assembled met at the Hollywood Bowl for a tribute to the late great Jimmy Buffett.

Social media was flooded with several clips from the evening including one video posted by MattBerry05 with the caption “at no point in this video from the Jimmy Buffett tribute at the Hollywood Bowl can you possibly predict who they will show next.”

I watched the video several times then watched it several more times. Each time in complete disbelief at this hodgepodge group of celebrities assembled in tribute of Jimmy Buffett. See if you can keep track of all the people on stage together here:

I see Judd Apatow, Harrison Ford, Bob Weir, Sir Paul McCartney, Woody Harrelson, Will Arnett, Bon Jovi, and of course, just as everyone expected, Pit Bull is vibing out on the far side of the stage. Never has there been more guys on stage together wearing sunglasses.

Snoop Dogg came out to perform ‘Gin & Juice’ in tribute to the man that led the Coral Reefer Band for decades:

Paul McCartney and The Eagles sing ‘Let It Be’ together:

My lone Jimmy Buffett story is really just a story of being in the right place at the wrong time. I was in Bocas del Toro in Panama and missed him by minutes. We showed up to this bar and everyone there was on cloud nine. Jimmy Buffett had just been there and was buying the entire place rounds of drinks. My main takeaway from that day? Never get to the bar late even if ‘late’ might mean 4 PM.
