Jesse Palmer knows a thing or two about love. He brutally roasted a male Florida fan on national television for what he saw as a platonic interaction with a group of female fans on Saturday evening.
The poor guy must be in shambles!
College students are typically in rough shape on Sundays. They spend all of Saturday at the tailgate, boot a flask to keep the buzz going during the college football game, and the hit the bars until the early hours of the next morning. Raging headaches and weak stomachs are commonplace on the Lord’s day of rest.
If that wasn’t bad enough, one likely hungover Gators fan is the subject of a national conversation about his love life. His phone has not stopped blowing up since approximately 8:00 p.m. ET and there is no indication that the influx of messages from friends and family will stop any time soon. Oof.
The young man in question wore a pair of blue and orange overalls to watch Florida get smacked on its own field by Texas A&M, even though the final score makes it look a lot closer than it was. He withstood a lengthy weather delay to support his team until the clock hit zero. Credit to him. He’s a trooper!
However, his life would be a lot better today if he had bailed on the game early instead of hanging around the Swamp with a group of five or six ladies because Palmer put him on blast.
Palmer, who was THE Bachelor on the fifth season of The Bachelor in 2004, took over as the franchise’s primary host in 2021 after the ouster of Chris Harrison. The former Florida and five-year NFL quarterback is very familiar with the dynamics of male/female relationships, both platonic and romantic.
Thus, he was willing to bet that the overall-clad Gators fan was in the friend zone.
If the mustachioed man is indeed in the friend zone as Palmer suspects, it would be in his best interest to either transfer or play up his sob story in a reverse psychological manner to draw sympathy from the opposite gender. If he is not in the friend zone and is dating one of the girls in the crowd, he should clear his name by firing back at Palmer on social media. Stay tuned.
