Hololive is teaming up with the Los Angeles Dodgers once again for a historic crossover of baseball and VTubers.
On July 5, 2025, Dodger Stadium will host the second annual hololive Night, featuring Ninomae Ina’nis, IRyS, and Koseki Bijou in a special evening that blends live Major League Baseball with real-time VTuber performances.
This year’s collaboration builds on the success of last year’s debut event, which drew thousands of hololive fans to the ballpark and marked one of the first major VTuber crossovers with a professional sports team.
The 2024 edition featured themed programming, exclusive merch, and in-game content, laying the groundwork for what quickly became a fan-favorite tradition. However, the 2025 event is taking things even further.
hololive returns to Dodgers Stadium
For the first time ever, hololive will livestream both to and from Dodger Stadium, marking a global first for the VTuber industry. Kicking off at 4:15 PM PDT, fans at home can tune in via the hololive English YouTube channel, while attendees will enjoy in-stadium appearances from the featured talents throughout the game.
During the seventh-inning stretch, Ina’nis, IRyS, and Bijou will lead a custom sing-along of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” giving one of baseball’s most iconic moments a uniquely hololive twist. After the game, fans will be invited onto the field for a post-game interactive segment, including “WHO’S got the MOVES?!?!”, a dance party set to hololive’s most popular tracks.
As with last year, limited-edition Dodgers x hololive merchandise will be available, including exclusive trading card packs featuring the talents in Dodgers uniforms. Rare versions also include printed autographs, which will undoubtedly make them highly sought after by fans.
Attendees can also enjoy VTuber-themed activities throughout the park, pose with life-size cutouts, and grab stadium snacks wrapped in hololive-branded packaging.
With new performances, livestream tech, and expanded fan interaction, hololive Night 2025 is shaping up to be one of the biggest VTuber crossover events of the year.
However, it’s not just hololive who has been collabing with iconic baseball teams, as the popular gacha game, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, also teamed up with the San Diego Padres in their match vs the LA Dodgers back in May.
