David Beckham is a cool dad, despite the fact that he thinks he had an “embarrassing dad moment” while on a father/daughter date with Harper Seven, 11. Seen dancing and singing the night away at The Weeknd’s concert on Saturday night, the talented duo clearly enjoyed their fun night out.
Beckham, 47, posted some videos of the two singing and dancing on his Instagram page with the caption, “Embarrassing dad moment timing was a little off but we got there in the end and I made HarperSeven laugh.”
‘Embarrasing Dad Moment’ or Cool Dad Moment?
During the concert at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on August 6, the two took turns filming each other enjoying the show. Beckham’s “embarrassing dad moment” was caught when he was filmed singing along to “Out of Time” and began just a few seconds too early.
A Family of Performers
Beckham may have a new career to fall back on if all else fails. His singing and dancing skills are impressive, and who wouldn’t love to be sitting next to him at a concert having as much fun as the daddy/daughter duo appeared to be having. And with his post receiving more than 587,000 likes and 3,400 comments, it seems many would agree.
Great Memories Shared on Social Media
Other videos shared by the cool dad included Harper smiling the night away while singing along and dancing. Tons of messages filled the comment section, but the one that stood out was by The Weeknd, also know as Abel Tesfaye, with the hands up emoji and a red heart. Other notable comment included, Vanessa Bryant, “So cute!” The comment section was filled with a sea of hearts, heart-eye emojis, flames and clapping emojis.
A second post of the evening was a video of his daughter singing and dancing along to “I Feel It Coming,” captioned, “I know I posted one video but our little girl is so cute I had to post another cause she is mocking the dad dance whilst being so cute.”
Hanging Out with The Weeknd After the Show
Their fun night clearly didn’t end with the concert. The two got to go backstage to meet and take a photo with The Weeknd. The owner of Inter Miami soccer team and former athlete also posted more videos to his Instagram Stories giving The Weeknd a little shout out for an “amazing night.” “@theweeknd Abel brings a smile to this little one’s beautiful face,” he wrote.
Missing from the fun night out was Beckham’s wife Victoria and their other three children – Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17.
Lots of Daddy/Daughter Fun Times
Beckham’s nearly 75 million Instagram followers know this isn’t a first for the daddy/daughter duo. Photos and videos of the fun times the two have are often seen on social media. From kicking a soccer ball to going to an NBA game to just simply taking a walk, the two seem to always be doing something fun.
