RATINGS DROP
The news came amid a serious decline in ratings.
Season 21 of The Bachelorette premiered on Monday, July 8, with 2.801 million fans tuning in, according to TVSeriesFinale.com.
The show suffered a 15.17 percent drop in viewership the following week and has continued losing viewers throughout the season.

The August 19 episode saw another 9.75 percent drop in viewership, with just 2.314 million people tuning in.
It’s unclear, however, if ratings played a role in the decision to bump the finale date.
