Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett and co-host Nick Grimshaw have announced plans to bring their chart-topping podcast Dish from Waitrose to the stage for a live show on Wednesday 17th September 2025 at the Royal Opera House in London.
Produced by Cold Glass Productions, the 90-minute dinner party-style live edition of the hugely popular podcast will be hosted in the historic main auditorium, and is guaranteed to be packed with “delicious conversation, signature recipes, infectious laughter, and surprise guests”, ahead of the opening of Angela’s new restaurant that same month on the fifth floor.
Cicoria and Bar Cicoria by Angela Hartnett at the Royal Opera House will showcase Angela’s renowned Italian-inspired cooking in a sophisticated yet welcoming setting, serving lunch and dinner, with a backdrop of panoramic views over Covent Garden and beyond.
In a press release announcing the one-off event, Hartnett said: “Performing at the Royal Opera House just before opening Cicoria and Bar Cicoria feels surreal. It’s such a special building, and Nick and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone.”
With Grimshaw adding: “We’re beyond excited to be on stage at the Royal Opera House, and we will try and restrain ourselves from attempting any ballet or opera throughout the evening.”
