The Pirates and Primanti Brothers won’t be the only major attractions in Pittsburgh this September.

On Aug. 7-8, the first-ever Sudden Little Thrills Festival swoops into the city’s two-acre park Hazelwood Green for two days of rock, R&B, pop, Hip-Hop and a few mashups from hometown favorite Girl Talk.

Headliners atop the inaugural bill include rockin’ hitmakers The Killers, R&B royalty SZA, art-pop princess Melanie Martinez, indie icon St. Vincent and Hip-Hop hero/Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa performing a “hometown birthday set.”

They’ll be joined by Lupe Fiasco, Royel Otis, Omar Apollo, Ethel Cain and Juvenile.

In total, 32 acts are scheduled to entertain at the multi-genre extravaganza; they’ll also have “unique artwork, local eats & more,” according to the festival’s Instagram.

For those who can’t wait to get their hands on Sudden Little Thrills tickets, we’re here to help make that happen.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, April 19, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
