Selena Gomez is back with a new single, “Love On,” her first release of 2024.
“Love On” is Gomez’s first release since last year’s “Single Soon,” a track produced by benny blanco and Cashmere Cat. At the time of that song’s release in August, she wrote that she was “not quite done with SG3,” so it’s unsure if “Love On” will be followed by more music or not.
In other Gomez news, the third season of her show with Steve Martin and Martin Short, Only Murders in the Building, premiered this past August on Hulu. In October, it was renewed for a fourth season, which will once again include Meryl Streep.
Last month, it was announced that Gomez would portray Linda Ronstadt in an upcoming biopic directed by David O. Russell. According to TMZ, Ronstadt met with Gomez several months ago, personally signing off on her casting.
