Universal Music Publishing Group inks exclusive deal with Maggie Rogers

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) has inked an exclusive global publishing agreement with songwriter Maggie Rogers. 

Rogers gained industry recognition in 2017 with her EP Now That The Light Is Fading, which reached #4 on the Billboard Heartseakers Albums chart. In 2019, she achieved global success with the release of her debut album, Heard It In A Past Life. That album reached #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales and Top Alternative Albums charts and #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. 

Rogers’ second studio album, Surrender released in 2022 to widespread critical acclaim. It was co-produced by UMPG songwriter Kid Harpoon and reached #1 on the US Top Tastemaker Albums chart and #2 on US Top Alternative Albums and #3 on US Top Rock Albums charts.

Maggie Rogers recently embarked on her North American headline ‘Feral Joy Tour’ and will be performing throughout the United States and Europe in 2023. Over her career, she has sold out headline tours across North America and Europe and has performed at festivals across the globe. She has also performed on major TV shows including ‘Saturday Night Live,’ ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ ‘Austin City Limits,’ ‘Today,’ and many more. 

Rogers will set out on her ‘Summer of ’23 Tour’ on North America on July 24 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 12-city headline run includes stops at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. It continues through September 29 in Washington, DC.
