If you’ve been on the lookout for the premiere of a music video made by one of our most current pop stars, using basic VFX, to kick off a new series for a global streaming giant based in Sweden, then you’ve come to the right place. To commence a new video series for Spotify that they’re calling Green Screen, Troye Sivan has made a video for the slow-burner “Still Got It,” one of the standout tracks on his excellent third album Something to Give Each Other. The premise is in the title: artists perform in front of a green screen that they then get to manipulate to exciting effect. “I wanted to partner with Spotify on Green Screen because it was an exciting opportunity to give life to one of my favorite songs on the album that wasn’t going to be a single,” Sivan says. “This video helped bring ‘Still Got It” to life in a distinct way!’” Lookout for future performances by Tinashe, Nessa Barret, NLE Choppa, and more.
