Saskatchewan musician and producer Softlung releases their debut single, ‘Worry.’
Formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 2022, Softlung is a new project formed around a humble and melancholic sound along similar to Kurt Vile, Sharon Van Etten, and The War on Drugs.
With their debut single, ‘Worry,’ Softlung showcases their ability to write a song that is forward-looking while showing concern for the past.
Recorded in solitude and self-produced, Softlung describes the song’s background:
“We all have worries. I think we often spend too much time thinking about a past we can’t change or stressing about a future that hasn’t happened yet. It can be easy to feel restless.”
