Fans have been waiting for the stunning house track since as early as June 2022, when Fred again.. dropped it during his breakout Boiler Room set.
Pangbourne House Mafia are at it again.
After making history at Madison Square Garden, the unstoppable trio of Skrillex, Fred again.. and Four Tet seem intent on keeping their feet on the gas. They’re now teasing the imminent release of “Baby again..,” a long-awaited collaboration.
“@fredagainagain1 @FourTet let’s drop baby again sooon [sic],” Skrillex tweeted.
The saga of “Baby again..” began in the summer of 2022. Fred again.. had been testing out the stunning house track in his DJ sets, like his intimate gig at London’s Corsica Studios in June of that year.
The electronic music superstar then rinsed “Baby again..” during his breakout Boiler Room set, which immediately went viral and helped catapult him to household name status. The unreleased track has only grown in popularity ever since, and its hype bubbled over after a drop at the Garden.
Many fans believed “Baby again..” would appear on Skrillex’s long-awaited sophomore LP, Quest For Fire, which released on February 17th. When that didn’t happen, they were left to wait for the album’s confirmed 2023 follow-up. They didn’t have to wait long—Skrillex dropped Don’t Get Too Close just one day later—but the song again was absent.
At the time of writing, Skrillex hasn’t yet revealed an official release date, nor have Fred again.. or Four Tet.
