Here’s a recap of recent music industry hires and in-house promotions as of December 13th, 2024.

Round Hill

Round Hill Music Royalty Partners LP has brought on former Raven Capital Management exec Katie Kowinski as chief of investor relations and business development.

Slipstream

Former Audio Network higher-up Jon Lane has signed on as VP of sync and partnerships at Slipstream Music.

Silver Side Productions

Silver Side has hired former Dentsu Creative executive music producer Stephen Stallings as senior director of creative sync advertising.

Integrity Music

Integrity Music has added Capitol Christian vet Stone Meyer as VP of publishing.

Additionally, Integrity has elevated A&R manager Taylor Agan to publishing creative director, with Taylor Brady transitioning from business development director to A&R director.

AIMP

The Association of Independent Music Publishers has announced the results of its board elections. Keeping the focus on leadership and member changes – we’ve already charted the full election results, including reappointments – Position Music vet Frank Handy is becoming president of the LA chapter.

Next, former Universal Pictures publishing professional Eric Polin is becoming VP, with Peermusic’s Yvonne Drazan as secretary and The Greater Goods Co.’s David Quan as treasurer.

Rounding out the LA chapter’s new faces and appointments are fresh board members Gabi Cote (Position Music’s sync director), Jessica Raviol (NBCUniversal’s publishing VP), Angry Mob vet Debra Delshad, Star Vibe CCO Sherry Orson, Bryan Bakke (Orfium’s business development director), Simplify Music’s Andrew Wixen, Counsel Plus attorney Charley Londoño, and Mayra Vargas (Concord’s senior sync director).

In Nashville, where leadership elections will take place in January, the new board members are ASCAP’s Duane Hobson, Liz Rose Music’s Dave Pacula, Studio Bank SVP Kari Barnhart, Jonas Group Publishing’s Leslie DiPiero, Loeb & Loeb attorney Megan Pekar, and Concord A&R VP Melissa Spillman.

Also in Music City, Peermusic creative director Kendall Lettow will be AIMP’s administration director, with Creative Nation creative director Alex Tamashunas as administration assistant.

In the New York chapter, Sundae Songs founder Debbie Rose is set to become president, with Domino Publishing’s Jeff Pachman taking her place as VP and president Michael Lau transitioning to treasurer. New board members in the Big Apple are Spirit Music business affairs director Omar Sandoval and Raleigh Music Group president Peter Raleigh.

Lastly, in Atlanta, Smart Cadence Media’s Tye Huntley is becoming co-VP, whereas consultant David Alexander is becoming treasurer.

SiriusXM

Amid a major strategic pivot, SiriusXM has appointed former ADT chief business officer Wayne Thorsen EVP and COO effective December 16th.

SoundCloud

SoundCloud general counsel and chief diversity officer Antonious Porch is stepping down to fill the former role at Condé Nast.

CD Baby

Layoffs are hitting Downtown’s CD Baby, which says it’s “re-allocating resources towards long-term growth opportunities.”

Virgin Music Group

Mark Robinson, previously with 300 and Paramount, has joined Virgin as EVP of global business and legal.

Red Light Management

Red Light has welcomed former Warner Music Nashville co-president Ben Kline as an executive.

PRS

Former Ivors Academy chair Crispin Hunt has been elected president of the PRS Members’ Council.

Peermusic

Peermusic UK has named Sony Music vet Harry Knyt head of A&R and elevated Dylan Myerscough-Harris from A&R manager to senior A&R manager.

Sun Label Group

Sun has announced several promotions and hires. Starting with the former, Bryce Egan has been bumped to marketing manager, and Chad Smith has been boosted to senior creative director.

Additionally, Hayley Tolley has shifted from marketing coordinator to marketing manager at Gaither Music Group, while two-year team member Olivia DeMasters has been upped to senior manager of catalog development.

On the hires front, Mary Clark Webb has joined as Green Hill social media coordinator, Jeremy Maier has started as streaming coordinator in the same division, and Maggie Hairston is now Gaither’s marketing coordinator.

River House

River House Artists has tapped Play It Again vet Lauren Lieu to serve as creative director of A&R, on top of promoting six-year employee Kayla Adkins to senior director of creative and A&R.
