Premiere: Grime Originals Launches Upcoming Comp With “Ease”

Sharky Major’s Grime Originals brand is moving into the next phase as they prepare for the release of their debut compilation, G.O.T.A Volume 1. To kick those plans into action, Sharky’s just dropped off visuals for the first single, “Ease”, a collaboration between Sir Spyro, Jammer, So Large, and Nasty Jack, with Sharky acting as executive producer.

Spyro’s production packs an ominous chill with lurching low-end and punchy drum patterns, giving Nasty Jack, Jammer and So Large a moody and dramatic backdrop for their tightly-wound back-and-forth. Naturally, the new track also comes with a video—directed by Mojo and co-directed by Das Konnen—and it’s as tense as the track itself, following a high-stakes chase through the block, with Sharky behind the wheel and So Large on hand to grab the goods at the crucial moment.

Speaking on the new track, Grime Originals CEO Sharky Major comments: “Grime Originals is all about different MCs, producers, and DJs linking up to have the sickest events and now to also make the sickest grime music with unexpected collaborations from some of the scene’s sickest artists. This track is fire! With Sir Spyro on a banging production plus Nasty Jack, Jammer, and So Large dropping crazy bars showing why they are all considered top guys within the scene! When you see the visuals to accompany this massive track, you’ll be impressed with the levels!”

This is the first track to be revealed from Grime Originals’ forthcoming compilation album, G.O.T.A Volume 1. Hit play on the video at the top and then be sure to add “Ease” to all your playlists.
