Paisley Park’s Celebration 2023 promises ‘new unreleased Prince’ music, along with appearances by Grammy-winning icon Chaka Khan, hip-hop legends Chuck D, D-Nice, Doug E. Fresh, Prince backup singer Shelby J, and others.

To celebrate the music and memory of cultural icon Prince, Paisley Park’s annual Celebration returns June 8 – 11, 2023. The star-laden event promises an exclusive presentation of unreleased music from the famed Prince Vault, along with special appearances by singer Chaka Khan, hip-hop icons Chuck D, D-Nice, and Doug E. Fresh, and performances by gospel groups Sounds of Blackness and The Steeles, R&B star Stokley, and many more.

Gathering at the late artist’s recording studio, museum, and concert venue in Chanhassen, Minnesota, fans will be treated to an extended-weekend event. Celebration 2023 will feature celebrity panel discussions of Prince’s life and career, including his relationship with hip-hop, the significance of the number “7” in his works, and passionate fans preserving Prince’s legacy.

In addition to a presentation featuring previously unreleased music from Prince, the weekend will also feature a special Prince Legacy Tribute to one of the founding members of Prince’s New Power Generation, the beloved vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Rosie Gaines.

In maintaining the event’s tradition, attendees will be divided into “Diamond” and “Pearl” groups to allow for more intimate experiences throughout Prince’s legendary complex. The artist’s private estate, Paisley Park, is an active museum, state-of-the-art recording studio, and concert venue.

The museum is open for public tours, enabling fans to tour the 65,000-square-foot complex that served as the center of Prince’s “creative universe.” Guided tours lead visitors through Paisley Park’s vast spaces, including the studios where Prince recorded, produced, and mixed many of his biggest hits.

Exhibit spaces chronicle his work, such as the film Purple Rain, and fans can visit Prince’s private NPG Music Club, along with a massive soundstage and concert hall where Prince rehearsed for his tours and held exclusive events.
