*NSYNC Reunite for First Live Performance in 10 Years

*NSYNC reunited for their first live performance in over a decade during Justin Timberlake’s concert at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The boy band, featuring Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and Chris Kirkpatrick, performed a mini four-song set that included “Girlfriend,” “Bye Bye Bye,” and “It’s Gonna Be Me,” as well as their new song, “Paradise,” which appears on Timberlake’s upcoming album, Everything I Thought It Was.

Wednesday’s concert at the Wiltern served as the album release show for Everything I Thought It Was, which is set to arrive on Friday. Timberlake will further support the album by embarking on an extensive world tour beginning in late April (get tickets here). But in an Instagram post following last night’s reunion, Bass seemed to imply that this wouldn’t be the last we’ll see of *NSYNC: “That was fun. Let’s do it again soon,” Bass commented in reply to a photo Timberlake posted.

*NSYNC last performed together at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in celebration of Timberlake receiving the Video Vanguard Award. In 2019, the group (minus Timberlake) joined Ariana Grande on stage during her headlining set at Coachella to perform “Tearin’ Up My Heart.” Last year, the quintet made a surprise appearance at the VMAs to present Taylor Swift with the Best Pop Award, and announce the release of a new song called “Better Place” that appeared in the latest Trolls movie.
