Nicki Minaj, Maluma and Myriam Share New World Cup Song “Tukoh Taka”

Nicki Minaj joins forces with Maluma and Lebanese singer Myriam Fares for their new collaborative single celebrating the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Produced by Gordo, Play-N-Skillz and Massari, “Tukoh Taka” was released alongside an accompanying music video. The track features English, Spanish and Arabic lyrics, as Minaj raps in English and Spanish, Maluma sings in Spanish and Fares sings in Arabic.

“I am so happy to be part of this FIFA World Cup anthem! I always dreamt of an opportunity like this,” Maluma said in a statement. “Representing Latin music on this global track alongside amazing artists that sing in English and Arabic, takes our culture to another level.”

“Tukoh Taka” arrives ahead of the imminent release of Nicki’s forthcoming fifth studio album, which will mark the follow-up to Minaj’s 2018 LP Queen.

In a recent interview with i-D magazine, Nicki revealed she’s finally getting ready to release her latest full-length offering. When asked what she’s got planned right now, the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper replied, “The fifth album.” She didn’t offer up many more details, but did promise it won’t be a long wait for fans.

“I’m not gonna say when it’s gonna come out, but the album will be out soon,” she added.
