Nav is taking a trip to the One Time Motel alongside Future and Don Toliver in the new video for “One Time.” The track is from his latest album Demons Protected By Angels, which came out last Friday.
The Spike Jordan-directed video finds the trio in the supernatural desert locale under the stars.
Toliver delivers the smooth hook on “One Time,” while Nav balances the positives with the negatives on his verse: “Focus on the moment, don’t know how long we’ll live.”
All three artists performed last weekend at the inaugural Rolling Loud Toronto.
Last Saturday, Nav dropped another video from the album, this time for “Lost” with RealestK. There’s also a video out for “Wrong Decisions” from the new album.
In an interview with Complex, Nav meditated on when he thinks a song is a hit: “I think every song has a sweet spot for everything. Meaning, tuning for all the melodies, tuning for all the notes, making everything in key—the right tempo, the right head on the bass drum or whatever. The right lyrics, the right flow choices. I feel like we found all those pockets. It hits everything.”
