Australian disco/dance-pop duo Midnight Pool Party returns with their latest single ‘FIDELITY,’ a sleek, emotionally charged track that dives into the complicated waters of temptation and infidelity.

‘FIDELITY’ marks a noticeable shift in lyrical depth for the duo, confronting the darker sides of adult relationships while keeping their signature dancefloor-ready energy intact. The song’s polished production blends shimmering synths, pulsing basslines, and a club-worthy groove, serving as the backdrop for a narrative that tackles emotional vulnerability and personal conflict. While still rooted in the duo’s upbeat aesthetic, the track embraces a heavier, more introspective tone.

Darren of Midnight Pool Party says:

“This song is about infidelity and temptation. Specifically, about going through the emotions of being tempted by someone else while you are already in a relationship and feeling like you are too deep into a situation that no matter what you do, or who you choose, you’ll lose and everybody gets hurt. Infidelity is not something we condone, but it does happen, and I just wanted to challenge myself to tell a story from a perspective that we haven’t done before in our previous songs. Life and love and the challenges you face along the way with relationships are really complex, and I really wanted to convey that in this song. We are both grown up now, and you have either experienced something like this yourself or know someone close to you that has. Although lyrically it has more of a serious tone, we still tried to bring our usual vibe to it.”

‘FIDELITY’ is out now on all major platforms.
